Group Exhibition - Em/Bodying Space

The spaces that we move within that begin to act upon and affect our bodies, the various connections between bodies that begin to create spaces, the potential of the body as a site for self-discovery and healing. The notion of Em/Bodying Space is that which locates the body as a mode through which space can be made meaningful. The body in space, the interaction and manifestation within space, the making-of-it as one's own - the search for meaning here becomes tactile.

The Em/Bodying Space exhibition was a group show organised and curated by myself, Nina Jacobson, Ciara Talisa Pillay, and Raphaela Cocotos at The Point of Order from the 19th to the 20th of November, in which I displayed my Ruptures installation. I have added a video walkthrough of my installation to this page, as well as photos of the work over the two days to illustrate the shifts in lighting as the time of day and weather changed, and changes in the layout of the installation as visitors interacted with the space on a tactile level.
